The criteria for burial at Sampson Veterans Memorial Cemetery is the same as all National Veterans Cemeteries. All honorably discharged veterans and their spouses and in some case a dependent child may be buried at Sampson, with military honors. Sampson Veterans Memorial Cemetery is slated to open in mid 2010.
